We always try to keep attuned to the garage door industry, in search of interesting ways that others have used garage doors as architectural elements in their buildings. It is no secret that commercial buildings have used garage doors in creative ways for years, especially in restaurants, to link the indoors to the outdoors in ways that we love to enjoy.
We recently ran across an article by Sheri Koones, Real Estate contributor on Forbes.com that demonstrates creative ways people have used garage doors in a residential environment. Her article is titled, “When Is A Garage Door More Than Just A Simple Shelter For A Car“. This article may help you answer that issue.
