This morning I spent almost an hour and a half standing across from an empty lot in sub-freezing temperatures with the wind blowing. Even though my ears, nose, and toes were numb my heart was warmed by the good that was being done. I was at a groundbreaking ceremony for a mortgage-free home being built by Lennar Homes in cooperation with Operation Finally Home for U.S. Army Lt. Garrett Spears.

Hollywood Crawford Door is donating the Wayne-Dalton garage door and Genie garage door opener for this home and Hollywood Crawford, Wayne-Dalton, and Genie received credit on the very nice sign on the empty lot where Lt. Spears’ home will be built.
