Few things make our team happier than supporting a cause close to our hearts, which is why everyone at Hollywood-Crawford Door Co. was honored to help with Evolutionary Homes’ 2026 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway by donating the home’s garage doors and garage door openers.
Being part of this project was its own reward, so receiving a plaque and a heartfelt note recognizing our contribution touched our entire team and reminded us why we love being part of this community.
Our Part In The 2026 Dream Home
Every Dream Home is built with materials and work donated by builders and local businesses, and the giveaway benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which treats children facing cancer and other life-threatening diseases. That support helps St. Jude keep its promise that families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food, so they can focus on their child.
Our part this year was providing the garage doors and openers, a donation valued at $10,000. While it’s just one piece of a much bigger effort, it means so much to our family to know the work we love can help children and families when they need it most.

A Partnership That Goes Back To 2018
This year’s home also continues a partnership we truly value. Before 2026, we donated garage doors and openers for Evolutionary Homes’ St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway homes in 2018, 2019 and 2024-2025.
Altogether, our donations across those four homes add up to nearly $24,000 in garage doors and garage door openers, and we appreciate that Evolutionary Homes keeps inviting us back.
Each of those homes has its own story, but our reason for saying yes has never changed. Evolutionary Homes brings builders, suppliers and neighbors together around a goal that truly matters, and we’re proud to stand alongside them every time they ask.
We’ve been a family-owned part of San Antonio for more than 78 years, and we know we wouldn’t be here without the neighbors who have welcomed us into their homes for generations. Giving back to causes like St. Jude is one small way we can return that kindness.
That belief runs deep in our family business. The people who help us grow deserve our support in return, whether that’s a neighbor down the street or a child receiving care at St. Jude.
