Construction

Avante garage doors are constructed from a low-maintenance, weather-resistant commercial grade aluminum frame outfitted with glass, other glazing materials or solid aluminum panels.

Made of 2-1/8” durable commercial grade aluminum, making it virtually maintenance-free and long-lasting

Model AXU made of 2-1/8" durable commercial grade aluminum with Intellicore® polyurethane insulation with an R-value of 3.8 (with clear insulated glass)

Integral section joint seal for further reduction of air and water infiltration

Smooth flat frame edge design for a more contemporary look

Reinforcing fin included on doors wider than 14’. Standard doors 12’ and under do not use built-in reinforcing fin. Usage on widths 12’2” to 14’ depend upon glass weight. WindCode® doors may vary.

Clopay’s Intellicore is a proprietary polyurethane foam that is injected into a garage door, expanding to fill the entire structure. The result is a door with incredible strength, energy efficiency, and durability.

Additional Features

Replaceable vinyl bottom weather seal in a rust-resistant aluminum retainer helps keep out air and water.
